Eternus has positioned itself in the design and manufacture of "Advanced Composites" space. Consequently the evolution of our composite manufacturing capabilities followed the same direction - and today our preferred composite manufacturing technologies cover the following,
Core Composite Manufacturing Processes
Core Composite Manufacturing processes are our core manufacturing capabilities. They account for more than 90% of our production volumes. Core Composite Manufacturing processes are primarily used for manufacturing "High Performance Composites";.
a. Vacuum Assisted Resin Infusion Process
b. Vacuum Bagging - Using Prepregs
c. Resin Film Infusion
We specialize in Small and Medium quantity - Commercial Batch Production runs, for even complex and critical advanced composite components.
We have all critical infrastructure ready to meet demanding customer needs from sectors like Aerospace, Defense as well as Space Exploration. Due to the type of projects we undertake (complex, critical and difficult to realize), the production volumes are normally limited to few hundred components at max. This way we are able to dedicate the attention to detail as well as ensure repeatability and consistency of our products.
Secondary Composite Manufacturing Processes
Secondary Composite Manufacturing processes account for less than 5% of our production volumes. These processes are used for manufacturing components which are not possible to be manufactured using the core composite manufacturing processes.
a. Fabric / Tape Wrapping
b. Fabric / Tape Placement
Support Composite Manufacturing Processes
Support Composite Manufacturing Processes are primarily used for support activities like manufacturing Autoclave Compatible Carbon Fiber Tooling Composite Molds / Jigs / Fixtures and some short run products which cannot be done by other processes.
a. Hand Lay-up
b. Compression Molding
We support clients from 1-off part manufacturing to few-hundred-off pieces production runs.
We have no minimum-order-quantity expectations and are comfortably equipped to handle larger production runs, if required, for even complex / critical products. This allows immense flexibility to our clients who can continue to focus on their core capabilities and trust the "advanced composites" part onto us.
