For all critical applications – be it Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Racing or Space Exploration – extreme performance is a prerequisite. Such products have extremely high criticality and extremely low tolerance to deviations and variances. Advanced composite manufacturing, by virtue of its inherent characteristics, is replete with unpredictability and variances – which could arise out of something as innocuous as humidity changes or temperature changes amongst other things.
