Advanced Composite Prototype development and manufacturing is much more than "manufacturing the first 'trial' part". Composite Prototype Manufacturing is where "practical experience" assumes enormous importance.
Right from interpreting CAD data to manufacturing masters and molds (CNC Machining - Routing / Rapid Prototyping) to manufacturing the prototype and testing it for validating the design assumptions - we offer the complete spectrum of Advanced Composite Prototyping services.
We use the composite prototyping resources to manufacture "highly specialized and critical" advanced composite products which might have a very small production volume. This helps us to devote the care and attention that these composite products deserve - due to their extreme complexities and stringent tolerances / specifications. This is where the "extra edge" of the diverse developmental experience of our dedicated composite prototyping team comes handy.
Most of our composite products at the prototyping stage are software simulated to predict the manufacturability of the product using the composite manufacturing processes we use. This enables us to design the composite manufacturing setup optimally - to get the prototype "First Time Right". We support our clients (some of whom are large scale composite part manufacturers) with data, recommendations and support regarding the setup of manufacturing at their end for the composite products (after the prototyping stage is completed at our end).
During prototyping we validate the Product Design and Composite Laminate Design from the following perspectives,
a. Manufacturing Feasibility
b. Product Aesthetics
c. Functional Performance
d. Product Specifications
e. Repeatability and Consistency
Depending on the Composite Product Design, Composite Laminate Design, Composite Product Aesthetics and Production Volume we also manufacture different types of molds - be it one time use molds / composite molds / metal molds.
As a part of assuring Interchangeability - we design manufacturing, machining as well as assembly and storage jigs and fixtures for Advanced Composite Parts.
